LOADER MOUNTED CABLE HANDLERS

Loader Mounted Cable Handlers are designed to safely and efficiently pick up, lay down and store power cable in and around any mining or construction project. Over two thousand feet of cable up to four inches in diameter can be neatly rolled onto a single heavy-duty steel spool utilizing WESTECH's unique "Level Wind System." The cable handler easily adjusts for various diameters of cable and still allows room for couplers. Cable can be quickly and safely played out over pit highwalls, along haul roads and pit floor, with reduced manpower and less exposure to potential safety and personal injury incidents. Cable handlers can be ordered with interchangeable spools that eliminate double handling and allow for easy rotation of cable for a neat and convenient storage system. A pressure relief valve ensures that the cable handler line pull never exceeds the cable manufacturer's recommendations. This advantage, coupled with the fact that the cable is no longer dragged over abrasive surfaces, can add years to the life of your cable. All cable handler controls are located in the operator's cab with quick-read instructions and international symbols for ease of operation. WESTECH Cable Handlers can be adapted to fit all major models of Wheel Loaders or Wheel Dozers.

SHOVEL ATTACHMENTS/LIVE CABLE REELS

Shovel Cable Handlers are attached to and pulled behind the shovel "sled fashion" on pontoon runners protected by WESTECH "Wearmaster" liner plates. The cable handler automatically pays out cable as the shovel moves down the length of the cut. When rewinding the cable, simply attach the cable handler to the dipper. The operator can activate the rewind cycle by remote control. The cable handler, with a hydraulic pressure relief valve, will maintain maximum line pull that will not exceed the manufacturer's recommended tension.Once again, reduction of manpower and machinery substantially reduces cost to moving cable and shovel, and non-production time is reduced to the minimum.

DRAGLINE ATTACHMENT/LIVE CABLE HANDLERS

Live Dragline Cable Handlers are designed to be pulled by a dozer in conjunction with the movements of the dragline. The Cable Handler's side-mounted boom will allow a D10 class dozer to pass under the cable while moving from one end of the handler to the other. The cable handler plays out cable as the dragline works its way up and down the cut. The cable handler can be activated to rewind the cable by remote control when the dragline mover in the opposite diirection. All Westech cable handlers maintain a steady, safe tension on the cable during the "pay out" and "rewind" cycl
