Steel Plate Inventory
We have one of the largest steel plate inventories in the Rocky Mountain region. Most of our inventory consists of quenched and tempered grades such as AR400, AR450, and A514. We buy our material from the best quality mills in the world such as Swedish Steel, Thyssen Krupp Steel, Essar Algoma, and JFE among others. Much of the steel we carry has been impact tested at the mill to meet various technical requirements. In addition, we carry non-heat treated 100ksi min yield strength material. AR400 - ¼” through 4” in widths from 96” to 120” and wider
AR450 – 5/16” thru 1” in widths from 96” to 120” and wider
AR500 – 3/8” thru 4”
A514 & equivalent – 3/16” thru 6.5” in widths from 72” to 120”
A656-80 – up to ¾”
A36 & A572-50 – up to 6”
Chromium Carbide Overlay – ½” through 1” total thickness
In addition, we carry various other grades and sizes from time to time.
